The most common kind is epithelioid mesothelioma which accounts for 60 70 to 80% of all cases. Other types include sarcomatoid mesothelioma, about 10 percent to 15% of all cases and mixed mesothelioma in which both epithelioid and sarcomatoid cells are present.
