What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?
Transparent device that evolves certain Pokemon species. Silph Co. produced it.
The item upgrader adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gaming benefit other than making it easier to view and purchase upgrades.
Boosts
There are many boosts you can get with an upgrader. These could include stats and additional bonuses. These bonuses can be incorporated into weapons or armor, as well as trinkets. They can be used to enhance the capabilities of a character, or give a new dimension of variety to their appearance.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency at an item upgrader. This system first came into play in Mists of Pandaria, and was further developed in Warlords of Draenor. It's a good way to increase the quality of your equipment, allowing you bypass the monotonous grind of questing and avoid numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an Best item upgrade is upgraded, its base type will change. Upgrades to a normal item create an Exceptional variant, while upgrades to an Exceptional model create an Elite. The item level upgrade will keep its previous upgrade stats, but will also receive an additional bonus of its new base type. This bonus is randomly selected. It could be a weapon with a greater damage range, an improved speed of reloading, or increased defense roll.
The number of upgrades you make will determine the amount of extras you will receive. Each upgrade will increase the corresponding extras by a factor of one, up to a maximum of three. Each upgrade will also boost the stats of the main game by +1.
Certain upgrades also give additional random boosts in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts can be quite valuable and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are useful in specific builds (such Whistan's shield, for FB sorcs) while others could provide an enormous amount of value to specific collectors.
Certain items come with a built-in boos which is less beneficial when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap has an extra slots for potion. They are often upgraded to add value to a close-to-perfect or perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades come with some associated costs. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. The cost is based on the new level of the item and the number of perks it receives and is often expensive. It is also costly to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the cost of the materials needed for an upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. These items can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take up to 8 hours. The upgraded Best Item Upgrader's base stats are calculated using the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the updated Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other crucial stats. In certain cases the upgrade will provide additional perks that can be selected from a list of available benefits.
Rarely, the benefits gained will cost more than one perk slot to acquire; in these situations the upgrade will replace the most expensive perks. The upgrader could also make other adjustments to the item, like changing the type of damage it deals to its weapon, or adding or removing an operative or unwieldy function. These modifications are based on the item's ilvl and may require special materials, such as Adamantine.
Success Rate
The basis for upgrading items is a chance, and like any random system there is a chance that the upgrade won't be successful. However, there are some things that can help to increase the odds of success. This includes the use of an item known as an Upgrade Pity or the addition of extra materials to the upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity is available through the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of a successful upgrade by some percentage. It is similar to the "luck bonus" that some items offer, but it is more secure. It can be added to any armor or weapon and can be used up to three times.
It is also possible to add a number of additional items to the upgrade, thereby increasing its chances of success. These are shown in a window that is above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can upload is shown directly above the + button.
A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version, can be used to increase the chances of a successful upgrade. This item can be helpful when your piece of equipment or weapon is close to or has reached the top level of its tier. This item lets you upgrade the equipment to the next level without risking its breaking.
If an upgrade item is unsuccessful, the system will be restored to its initial state. This is typically a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. You should save an upgrade until you reach the highest level for an item.
There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to boost the odds of an upgrade succeeding. You can boost your chances of success by enhancing your equipment multiple times with HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The rate of success will be enhanced if you boost the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The item upgrader allows players to add a second slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enhancement. However, it is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The rate of upgrade and enchantment depends on the rank of the item. The higher the rank, the more Zen and items you will need to upgrade it.
This system is expensive especially if you're looking for top-quality gear. Upgrades to weapons and armor can cost up to 100,000 Z or 100 Carnium. As you progress in rank, your chances of success diminish. However, you can use cash shop items to increase the chance of upgrading an item efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is a fundamental upgrade that can only be applied to weapons, armor and bikes. It requires different grades of core dependent on the type of item. In general, lower grade items require cheaper cores while higher grade items require more expensive ones.
To perform an upgrade that is normal, you must first have the proper number of cores. Once you have them click the button next to the item that you want to upgrade. The upgrade window will display a percent indication of your chance of success. The percentage is based on the level of upgrade and the core nature of the item you've selected.
You can also select the option of a security feature for your item, which will protect the item in case of failure. The safeguard is not free however, the cost will be lower than the cost of a new item. The safeguard can be used only once per upgrade, and will not expire unless it is used again.
The interface for the item upgrader can be a bit confusing, but not difficult to navigate. The main menu is located on the left and the upgrade window is on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI indicate the various steps during the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to get assistance if you're unsure what you're doing. The upgrade could take five minutes.
