WoW Item Upgrades
More commonly referred to as "upping"--are enchantments and items that can be incorporated into armor and weapons and increase their stats. These upgrade components add a number of points to the level gauge for the item, with their costs increasing in proportion to their rarity.
A perfectly formed version of this armor is highly prized in the melee PvP community due to its ability to reduce the amount of damage a weapon can cause.
Type-restricted upgrades
Upgrades are an essential element of the crafting process. They can boost an item's stats and make it stronger or weaker, and even provide an added benefit. They can also alter the appearance of an item. Certain upgrades are universal, while others are governed by specific rules for armor and weapons. Making the wrong upgrade can destroy a excellent weapon, and could even lead to it becoming useless.
As a rule, you can only upgrade the equipment you have to the level of its most advanced counterpart. This means that you can only upgrade items body armors, helms, shields and gloves to the level of their most elite counterparts. Weapons however, can be upgraded to the level of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's power of damage, but can reduce its trade value.
To upgrade item an item, you must spend flightstones and crests. The amount you pay for each depends on the item's level and slot. Upgrades to swords, for instance will cost more flightstones than an upgrade to a cloth. You can also receive discounts on the number flightstones or crests required to upgrade item an item.
Upgrading an Item Upgrader Mod fills up its diamond-shaped indicator. Each step raises the item's Tier level by one-third. Tier 3 is the highest level. It can take several upgrades to get to this level, based on the item. It is crucial to remember that any procedures that might mount a disk should not be running during an upgrade. In addition, you must ensure that the disk being upgraded is not used as a system disk.
Enchantment is a feature which lets you transform white or Common items into rare or blue items. It is possible to do this at Eleanor's Enchantment Shop in the Capital District. This process does not add gem or rune slots to the equipment, however it does alter the size of the equipment. It increases the size of equipment by the size of a creature two categories smaller, so for example, a Blaster Pistol is deemed small, while the Stormtrooper Armor is Medium.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades which can be applied to any kind of equipment. This includes weapons, armor and trinkets. Upgrade components can be obtained through Random drops or side quests. Universal upgrades can be temporary or permanent, and they can overlap with Power-Ups. They can also be linear or branching.
The Universal Upgrade starts when "internal technologies" can provide sentient creatures new capabilities that they are unlikely to acquire naturally. Examples of internal technology include implants or prostheses. This type of upgrade is different from medical internal technology which is designed to restore the natural capabilities. It is the beginning of the process that will alter civilizations completely. The universal upgrade can be an extended and complicated process. However, the process can be divided into two classes: full success and partial failure.
Similar to the way resort upgrades are implemented at Disney and Universal. In the case of WDW these upgrades are usually due to operational reasons like overbooking or room availability. In the case of Universal this could mean to move guests from one resort to another that is open. This is not meant to be mean-spirited however it could be inevitable in the current environment.
Unlike Runes, Sigils and Jewels which are only applicable to specific types of equipment (armor trinkets, weapons, or), universal upgrades can be applied to any gear. They can also be applied to several items at the same time. This makes them more adaptable than other types of upgrades. This flexibility can be a problem when upgrading items that are on a specific gear route. It will increase the level of items for all pieces on that path.
Before you upgrade, it is essential to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the application files that are already in use. After that, you can install the new files by using the Get-ChildItem -Recurse or the Unblock-File commands. To make sure that your PSU server is operating properly you must also conduct a basic verification.
Jewels
Jewels are upgrades that can be put into armor, weapons and other accessories. The reagents and gems that are used to make them can give different stat bonuses and secondary effect. They can be found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions, V Blood Carriers and in regular enemies, or can be bought from a Master Craftsman in exchange for karma or gold. Jewels can also be made at a jewelry table using one gem and five of the same reagent to create a jewel of greater or lesser tier; this process is the same as upgrading a gemstone with a gemcrafting table.
Jewel tiers are based on the amount of modifiers they have, with higher-tier jewels having more modifiers than lower-tier ones. The primary effect is determined by the jewel's tier, while the secondary effect is random. The players can use luck potions in order to increase their chances of obtaining better secondary effects.
Jewels can also be added to items that have sockets that match, just like other upgrade components. For instance, a Garnet Pebble (gemstone) and an Adorned Garnet Jewel (jewel) both offer a boost to strength, however the Garnet Pebble is only able to increase regular hits while the Garnet Jewel also boosts the player's powerful attacks. Jewels can be placed in all tiers of armor, weapon and accessory slots, as well as certain trinkets that are rarer or exotic nature which require a slot to be empty.
As with other DM mechanics, gems help to ensure that items feel special to their owners. Jewels offer a variety upgrade options that allow players to personalize and find the best combination for their needs. They can upgrade their gear with new gems if they feel that the original set is no longer appropriate.
Requirements
Item Upgrades in WoW allow players to level up the levels of their equipment set pieces, weapons and trinkets over their current level of item from specific Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor sources. These upgrades increase the stats of items and some also have special effects. (For instance, Dolphin's grace gives swimmers the same grace as dolphins). These upgrades can be obtained at any upgrader NPC, or by salvaging them from items that contain them, with various types of items dropping different upgrade components.
The upgrade process can be a bit complex, but it is straightforward. The player chooses the item he wishes to upgrade, and then clicks on the Upgrade button. A window will pop up with the various upgrades available for the item upgrader kit. The window will display the upgrade level, the type of upgrade bonus (such Tech Points or a Quality Chance) and the cost of upgrading. The upgrade level is displayed in a bar at the top of the screen. the bonus type for upgrades is shown below it.
If the player chooses to make an upgrade the item will be delivered to the upgrader NPC, who will explain the procedure for upgrading the item. The player must then provide the correct currency and, if necessary additional materials. These requirements are based on the item's item level with weapons generally having higher requirements than armor.
Many upgrade recipes include an acceptable material list' in addition to the required components. This list includes the other components of an upgrade that can be used to upgrade an item. It also has an indicator that tells you whether or not it has an assured boost. This is important because the value of an upgrade can differ greatly based on its 'extras. For instance the gear that is perfectly rolled can be worth much more than a non-upgraded model.
The list of upgrade types that require valorstones or crests will be shown in a separate list below the main list. The number of crests and valorstones required depends on the item upgrade's level. Weapon upgrades require the most Valorstones.
