Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations applied.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another Best Item Upgrade of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the spot until the next success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous methods to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item level upgrade is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. In the same way, once an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide extra effects or an increased quality of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item upgrader kit, it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item upgrade. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory once you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
