Item upgrade allows players to raise the item level of equippable weapons and armor. This improves the stats and may also include buffs or rerolls to an affix.
It is important to remember that upgrading common gear isn't always worth it. Rare and Unique gear will quickly outclass upgraded magic and common gear.
Cost
When a player decides to upgrade an item, they must spend Gold to do so. The cost of upgrading an item is dependent on its current level as well as the upgrade type selected. Upgrades to weapons are usually less expensive than upgrades to armor since weapons have less requirements. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item level upgrade is upgraded.
An upgraded item level upgrade will also come with increased stats, which could boost its performance in various ways. This could include boosting its attack power or critical strike chance. A player can roll an upgraded item using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a new version. The new item will feature a different set of extra bonuses, as well as a lower base item level. The rerolled item also has different requirements for dexterity and strength. It is important to note that the item rerolled will not be able to maintain its strength or have any of its wasted resources.
Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item was upgraded was an Epic Rare, Rare, or Unique. To upgrade a piece of equipment, visit the NPC [Armoror Boboko located in Central Flarine. Depending on the type of item, you will require one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is droppable from monsters 21+ and Giants and Dice 12 can be obtained from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time
Items upgrades can be used to increase the stats of your ship and gear without the need to level them. Upgrades aren't cheap, but they can be a great way to boost your stats without having to spend a lot of time fighting. It is important to understand the benefits and costs prior to making the investment of time or money.
Each upgrade increases the item's base stat to a certain extent and also gives a chance to get a bonus substat. The additional substat is randomly assigned, and can vary from a tiny increase in one stat to an even greater increase in another. Focus on the items that perform Best item upgrader in slot first. They will provide a more profit for your investment.
You can see the time it takes to complete an upgrade by opening your inventory and selecting a weapon, ship or accessory. The upgrade window will display the expected completion date and progress. In some cases, you may be able to speed up the process by using a Glyph.

The more levels an item is upgraded to the higher its boosted stats value and the more items it is able to upgrade into.
Upgrade components can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an attribute benefit or an additional effect while the equipment is equipped. Certain upgrade components can be equipped with additional cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade items by crafting, purchasing from vendors, or at the Trading Post, looting, or obtaining rewards. A player can turn an item into a different upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button with an arrow for reroll. Recycled items won't keep their level, or the resources used to upgrade it.
The maximum upgrade level of an item is determined by the item's level and its quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels of nine, while common items can only be upgraded to level six. The upgrade of an item is added to the base stats of the item. This means that they will not increase more after a certain point.
