The World of Warcraft item upgrade system lets players increase the level of their weapons, armor, and trinkets. This process is largely identical to the process of reforging gear in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor, but instead of using the currency that is appropriate, players must visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.
