1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest model in the Baby Jogger range. It's made for travel and easily fits through the majority of doors with its narrow design, it's also one of the lightest double buggies on the market, weighing just 14lbs when folded. It's perfect for traveling with a newborn and toddler as you won’t over-exceed airline baggage allowances. It can also be folded into an incredibly small travel bag so you can store it in the back of your car.
The one-handed, Z-shape folding is a breeze and is extremely compact once you get the hang of it. It can take a couple of minutes to fold. However, our tester found the auto lock to be a little confusing. As the handlebar doesn't lock into position when you press it, it hit her legs when she used it. She also felt the handlebar was a little on the short side and especially with the large changing bag hanging off it.
This double stroller is not as light as other travel buggies. It's got a broad variety of features, and is one the most versatile double single pushchair strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), has multiple recline positions and a UV 50+ canopy. You can even add an additional bassinet to one or both seats, and turn it into a travel set-up.
The four composite wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements as well as urban terrain however, they're not designed for off-roading. They slid on long grass and gravel, and there isn't much clearance between the bracket and the wheel, so mud was able to get stuck easily. Our tester loved this vehicle and was able to climb pretty muddy hills.

It's not as simple to drive on public transportation, however, since it requires more than one hand to grip the handlebar. It's also a bit heavy and will not fit in a standard car boot with the seat in place, but this can be overcome with some cautious planning. iCandy includes an infant footmuff and a changing bag included in the price, making this an excellent value package for parents who are just starting out.

The height-adjustable handle and rear wheel suspension ensure an enjoyable ride for children up to 22kg. The tough pneumatic tyres, that are easy to clean, provide a smooth ride when jogging. The 360-degree swivel wheel is able to be locked in place to make it easier to manoeuvre around the town. The one-pedal lock brake is also simple to use.
Our testers found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to navigate, even on rough terrain or when turning on an area with a lot of traffic. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently, which means they can be adjusted to meet the individual's needs. This is ideal for napping.
The hoods were also simple to adjust for sun or wind protection. They did not offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth having an extra rain cover inside the case.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the Nipper double's ability to allow them to take their twin stroller daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From exploring the forest for wildlife or rushing to a park to play with their friends they were thrilled. The testers were also impressed with how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There is plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. Our test participants did not agree, however, that the lack of a parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in this buggy were a problem, and they would have liked to see more storage space to store shopping items and other accessories.
