Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon, or rings. The item upgrader is swapped for another similar item, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that melee and weapons while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next Success result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened they show a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. The system is a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at once. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be applied in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements

These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get an exact roll. These include the item upgrader type (either weapon or armor) and the level of the item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
