The upgrader for items adds a new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no benefit in terms of gameplay other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.
Boosters
With an item upgrader kit upgrader you will be able to enjoy many bonuses. They can include stats as well as bonus bonuses. These bonuses can be used on armor, weapons and trinkets. They can be used to improve the abilities of a character or give a new dimension of variety to their build.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency to an item upgrader. This system first came into play in Mists of Pandaria, and was further developed in Warlords of Draenor. It's a convenient method to raise the level of your equipment, which lets you to skip the grind and avoid the countless wipes in Mythic+ Dungeons.
When an item is upgraded, its base type changes. Upgrading a normal item will result in an item that is Exceptional and upgrading an item that is Exceptional will create an Elite version of the same base item. The item upgrading will keep the same stats it had prior to upgrading however, it will also receive an additional bonus from its new base type. The bonus is randomly chosen. It could be a weapon that has more damage range, a faster speed of reloading, or increased defense roll.
The amount of extras that you gain by upgrading is contingent on the amount of upgrades completed. Each upgrade will increase the corresponding extras by a factor of one, up to a maximum value of 3. In addition, each upgrade will also boost the main stat by +1.
Some upgrades also give you additional random boosts in addition to stat increases. These boosts can be very valuable and should be taken into consideration when choosing which items to upgrade items. Certain of these boosts may only be used in specific builds (such a Whistan's Shield for FB Sorcs) Some are valuable to collectors.
Certain items come with inherent boo that is less useful when upgraded, like the Goldwrap which provides extra potion slots. They are often upgraded to add more value to a nearly perfect item.
Costs
There are some costs associated with item upgrades. The most significant cost is the upgrade itself. This cost can be expensive and is dependent on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it receives. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the cost of materials required to upgrade. These items are usually Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. These items can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. It can take up to 8 hours, depending on the size of the upgrade. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, as well as other important statistics. In certain cases, an upgrade can grant additional benefits. These perks are offered in a list.
Rarely, the perks acquired will cost more than one perk slot; in these situations the upgrade will replace the highest-cost perks. The upgrader can also make other changes to the item, like changing its weapon damage type, or adding or removing a operative or unwieldy option. The cost for these changes is determined by the item's new ilvl, and it may require a specific material, such as an adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
The process of upgrading an item is dependent on chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it will not succeed. However there are some things that can increase the odds of success. This includes using an item known as an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of extra components to the upgrade.
An Upgrade Pity is a product you can buy from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade succeeding by some percentage. It is similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide however it is more solid. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and is used three times.
You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. The materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.
Another method to increase the odds of a successful upgrade is by using the item known as the Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is useful in the event that you have an item or weapon equipment that is at the maximum level for its tier or is close to it. It will allow you to upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without having to worry about it breaking.
If an upgrade fails it will be restored to its initial state. This is typically an error, but it can also be an upgrade. It is a good idea to save an upgrade for when you are close to the maximum capacity of an item, and to use it as a last resort.
There are many items in the Kafra shop that can be used to increase the odds of a successful upgrade. For example upgrading an equipment using HD Oridecon or HD Elunium repeatedly will give you an increased chance of success. The chance of success will be increased if you can increase the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for an item allows players to add a second card slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enchantment or upgrade an item. It is important to remember that not all items can be upgraded. The enchantment and upgrade rate is dependent on the rank of the best Item Upgrader. The higher the rank, the more Zen and the items you'll need to upgrade it.
This system can be quite expensive, particularly for top-of-the-line equipment. It can cost upwards of 100,000 z and 100 Carnium to upgrade a weapon or armor. The chance of success also decreases as you progress in rank. However, you can utilize cash shop items to increase your chances of completing an upgrade efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is a fundamental upgrade that can only be applied to weapons, armor and bikes. It uses different core grades based on the type of item. In general, lower-grade items require lower-cost cores whereas higher grade ones require higher-end ones.
You must have the proper number of cores in order to perform a normal upgrade. Click the button next the item you'd like to upgrade after you have the cores. The upgrade window will then show a percentage indicator of your chances of success. The percentage is based on the level of upgrade for the item and the core type you have selected.
You can also select a safeguard that will protect your item in the event of failure. This protection isn't free however, the cost will be less than purchasing a new item. The protection can be used once per upgrade, and it will not expire until it is used again.
The interface for the item upgrader can be a little difficult, but not impossible to navigate. The main menu is located on the left and the upgrade window is on the right. The arrows to the left side of the UI depict the various stages of the upgrade process. If you are not sure what you're doing, click the question mark icon to get assistance. The upgrade can take up five minutes.
