Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of the equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment in three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item upgrader to a better quality. To produce them, you need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the spot until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting stress on their accounts. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to get them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item upgrader mod an increased level, which gives the item a boost in the area. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be added and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Once the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Also, when an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for the track will be offered at discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade items - made a post - can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item upgrade can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
