Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to a double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be set up to a triple travel system by adding a bench or an infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations and is a top stroller overall. The model is made of Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabric that aids in thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the easiest to adjust and works well for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there is a footwell adjuster button to help you position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, but we would have liked an easier latch. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers are a bit annoying because they need to be unfastened and then put back in place after every use.
Like its counterparts Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release with the pull of a lever on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is an improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake levers that many of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats, making it a great option for twins or parents with a single child and a baby due. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent alternative for families who already own a car seat, but are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller for this scenario.
