They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment using three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can put in an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. When a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is in use. Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of the item as well as the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
