Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. They also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE damage.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence attributes of the weapon or armor. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them in the cash shop, or by obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

The player can have the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of the item will be available at the time of the next reset.
