Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single to a double pushchair 3 wheeler stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be configured to create a triple-travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. It offers 24 different configurations and is a top-rated stroller overall. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger’s soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a moderate-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable, and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline, and there's an adjustment button for the footwell to help you position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of space, however we would have liked to have a more secure latch. It's easy to access, but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they have to be completely undone and refastened for each use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are easy to set up and release by pulling a lever on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is an improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake lever that some of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller that we have examined that accepts two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents who have twins or a baby on the way. It can be used to fit most infant car seats made by major brands by using an adapter. We tested it on Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families that already have a car seat, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you may be better served with another convertible stroller in this instance.
