Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements used.
The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor or rings. The item is swapped for one similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item upgrader mod, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is being rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened, they display a full description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are a variety of methods to get these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item upgrading will gain a higher level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add an item to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.
Certain items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more because it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the Best item upgrader. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
