The introduction paragraph is an important element of any essay. It introduces the topic or question that your essay will address and provides a reason for your position on it.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons. They can be used to add an additional benefit or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought by players or vendors looted, or gotten as rewards, or made by crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects in addition to providing attribute bonuses.

Upgrade components can include inscriptions, enhancements, and infusions. They aren't generally available for general use and they can only be used on Ascended equipment or other weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions and enrichments can be retrieved from equipment with an Infusion Extraction Device. They can also be saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.

In contrast to other upgrade items Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while attached to the item upgrading that they are upgrading. They are able to be used again after they are salvaged. These upgrade items are the best method to increase the quality of your quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium because they can increase the likelihood of receiving an upgrade by two times.

Upgrade components can be added to an item but the old one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Only upgraded items that have an identification level of 0 or greater can include upgrade components them. If you upgrade an existing weapon that already has an upgrade suffix or prefix the item upgrader mod will be referred to as it would appear on the game screen (for instance, adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor makes it Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at once.

Glyphs

Glyphs are a useful addition to any item, as they can provide many unique benefits and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, which increases its effectiveness. These glyphs are available through dungeons, and some can be found in certain World Tier 3 areas. It's important to remember that glyphs can't be used on a character who hasn't created a root dungeon of the same depth.

To make use of a Glyph you first need to create it using components, and then connect them using anchors. The component will then automatically align to other components or paths in the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph using components, you can use a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element near a component highlighted to lock it into the right spot.

Certain glyphs require certain requirements to be fulfilled, such as 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some require a specific number of Primary Stat nodes to be activated and can be a challenge to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that grows with each level.

Glyphs can be applied to various weapons and items, with the exception for those belonging to a particular class. Certain glyphs can be used with additional conditions, such as the requirement for a certain amount of Dexterity damage, or Attack damage on a specific part of the Paragon board.

The Defend Glyph gives you an 5% chance to deflect attacks from enemies. It also has an opportunity to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.

There are also a few glyphs that can be applied to tools with limited-use capabilities, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs can be counted towards the Combat Mechanic achievement.

The most popular glyphs used in the game are the attack glyphs which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. They are particularly useful for classes with a range, such as Warriors and Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph which makes enemies who strike the Hero vulnerable to damage.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are used to reroll a result rolled during an Action. When the reroll happens, they are thrown away. Reroll tokens can be gained in several ways, including through raids, dungeons, and skirmishes. You can also buy them at the shop or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons or trials since they allow players to play a reroll of rewards from the chest at the end.

For items at the level 1 there are recycling points. When recycle an item, it will add a specific amount of points to the upgrade gauge. This value is based on both the item's rarity and level. The upgraded item will not keep its level when rerolled and the cost to recycle an upgraded item increases as its level increases.

The player can also use reroll tokens to roll an item. However, this will not bring back the item's original stats, or level. This is useful for players who wish to reroll an item they aren't happy with and would like to keep it in their collection.

Three types of upgrade coins are available in the game: the reroll, the randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. Reroll tokens, for example come in three categories that are rare, legendary, and enhanced. Each level requires an item from the respective level to create an item of that quality.

To make use of reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in the inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select a type of token. The tokens available include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item Upgrader Mod token can be used to create a new Item in any quality. Using the Weapon or Misc token will create a new weapon from the same faction.

The item may also be upgraded to a new item that has the same stats but a higher level. This will occur if the item been placed in the Non-Droppable Pool or if it was transferred to it as part of an franchise card.
