Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile, multi-purpose stroller. It can be converted from a single stroller into a double stroller by adding an additional seat (sold separately) or glider board. It can also be set up into a triple travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the most highly rated stroller. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger’s soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate temperature. It comes with a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a medium-sized shade and an open-air window with a magnet, that is simple to open or close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable, and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment button so you can position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious however we would prefer it had an opening that was more secure. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers a little frustrating since they have to be completely undone and refastened to each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to set up and release by pulling a lever on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and a significant improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake lever that some of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller we reviewed that can accept two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents with twins or expecting a baby soon. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good option for families who already own car seats, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might prefer a convertible stroller in this case.
