Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile, multi-purpose stroller. It can be converted from a single stroller to double strollers by adding a second seat (sold separately) or glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is able to be set up to a triple travel system by adding a bench or an infant car seat. It comes with 24 options in total and is the top-rated stroller. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate temperature. It features a premium leatherette handlebar as well as a bumper bar, as well as a belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a moderate-sized shade and an e-snap-aboo window which is easy to close or open. The telescoping bar can be one of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline and there is a footwell adjuster to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is large, but we wish it had a latch that is more secure. It's easy to access but we found the zippers to be a little frustrating since they need to be completely removed and refastened for each use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are easy to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and is a step up from the toe-pinch lever that a few of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats, making it a great alternative for twins, or for parents with one kiddo and a baby on the way. It can be used to fit most infant car seats from major brands by using an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a great option for families who already own a car seat, but are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller in this case.
