Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be used for multiple purposes. It can be converted from a single stroller into double strollers by adding an additional seat (sold separately) or a glider board. It can also be converted into a triple travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It has 24 different configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model uses Baby Jogger's comfortable, breathable TENCEL fabric that aids in thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is also lighter.
It comes with a medium-sized shade and an open-air window with a magnet, which is easy to open or close. The telescoping bar can be one of the most easily adjustable, and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment button so you can position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious, but we wish it had an opening that is more secure. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers are a bit frustrating because they have to be removed and then refastened after every use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and a significant improvement over the toe-pinch lever that some of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we examined that accepts two infant seats. It's a great option for parents who have twins or expecting a baby soon. It can fit most infant car seats from major brands using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families that already have a car seat but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller in this instance.
